Some real estate associates are cheating

I was in the office very early one morning wrapping up some important details for a client. Terry, my wife and business partner, called and asked me where I was at and I told her I had come in to the office early. She was quiet and seemed puzzled. I asked her if the girls were up and getting ready for school. She informed me it was Sunday and the girls were going to second service at church so they would be sleeping for a while. I was momentarily light headed. I had come in early to meet a deadline and I was sure it was Monday. It wasn't.
My present and past clients are familiar with my work ethic. I often lose track of time but I never miss an appointment. I work though meals and am usually impervious or oblivious to heat and cold. I send E-mails at 2:00 in the morning and answer the phone when ever it rings. However, I have never before lost a complete day.
Later that Sunday morning I took a FLOOR call. The caller wanted some information on a home. I asked them if they were currently working with anyone and they said YES BUT their representative wasn't available. The absentee real estate professional had instructed their client to call and get the information on their own.
I provided the information and then I asked them what they did for a living. Once they had told me I then asked them if their boss had ever given their paycheck to one of their coworkers? They replied of course not. I asked why not and they said if they did the work they expected to be paid.
I smiled, thanked them for their time, and wished them well, then hung up the phone
