I have been out showing, and I'm taking notes. I'm anticipating calls from my peers for feedback on their listings. I want to be prepared. Most homes won't fit my clients needs. But having homes to show offered through the cooperative spirit of our MLS is awesome and I'm appreciative. Unfortunately, my requests for feed back on my listings seem to be falling on deaf ears. Few returned phone calls and few returned E-mails. WHY? And it seems when I am able to reach an agent by phone they typically do not remember any details and are often rude. Why? I think it boils down to a lack of training and professionalism. We have forgotten our history. We have taken for granted the privileges afforded us by cooperation through our MLS. I refuse to think that some of us are just rude and a little bit self centered. Maybe I'm just getting old! But you can still call me for feedback when I am afforded the privilege of showing one of your listings.
